ABU DHABI - Day 6

We started our 6th day at one of the previous night's spots.

"Dagens Første"

 

We more or less spent most of the day at Abellah Park with local ripper Mark Issa.

Eventually we headed over to the first spot of the trip (check Day 1) - where we were joined by a ton of locals, and got some going-to-Dubai tips (the plan for the next day).

Our 6th day was a Thursday.
Thursday for Abu Dhabi, is what Friday is for "Us" - last day of the week before the weekend. Meaning Friday is their "Saturday", Saturday is their "Sunday", and Sunday is that shitty start of the week day. If you get what I mean...
Anyway. As it was Thursday ("Friday"), and we were having such a goodtime, aaaaand we had picked up supplies the day before...
We decided to do a bit of celebrating.

We got the tunes at the hotel going...

Matt and Mike Day joined us...

Ventured out into the nightlife...

and it gets blurry from there.

ABU DHABI - Day 5

 

A bit later than the days before - we started the fifth day with what was becoming the routine skate through the city.

Slowly making our way towards the Corniche.

Once on the Corniche, we headed towards Marina Mall (at the very end of the Corniche)...

... as I had made plans to meet Mike there.

Yeh..

After that was done - I met back up with the crew at Marina Mall, and we headed back towards the city to get our "skate on".

As mentioned earlier, we had let ourselves sleep in a little that day...

 ... with the beer run taking a little longer than expected...

... and Emil having a certain "art shot" that suddenly needed taking...

 
... Day 5 was strictly night session.

ABU DHABI - Day 4

On our fourth day we returned to the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (bank spot) to hook up with local skater Omri, who we had met the night before.

We cruised around the city for a while 

 

 

to eventually return to...

"Dagens Første"

Where (again) a pretty big chunk of the day was spent - before Omri took us to another spot...

Where we more or less ended the day.

Where I found Kim and Michel filming lines in the hotel parking lot on my way home.

And that was more or less day 4.
